Weighing the ingredients

Creaming the margarine with sugar

Adding in the beaten eggs


Sifting the flour and baking powder

Folding in the flour

A greased cake tin

Pour the mixture in


Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20 - 25 minutes

Done!
You may serve it with icing sugar sprinkled on the top. I melted some chocolate chips in a pot over small fire and spread it on the cake.
Substituting plain flour with wholemeal flour:
